Thanks to Dee and many others here plus my new addiction counselor and my new recovery coach and recently stumbling upon a book titled Rational Recovery I’ve broken the cycle finally!! I cannot describe how free I feel - I went hiking yesterday and just could not stop smiling at the sunshine, the trees, the snow and my husband who was with me. I have finally accepted my forever and I am determined to not let anything get in my way! 💪🏽 Glad this post got bumped so I could reflect on it in my own space and time. 💜 |
