Hi Sunset, congratulations on staying sober for the night.

A normie drinker, that sounds just like what you need. Perhaps he enjoyed the fact you were not drinking so he didn't have to do the same.

Being sober is the most important thing right now so just take your time getting to know him because you want to get to know him rather than what you want from him to make you feel better i.e. attention, love (in the form of sex), company etc.

Easy does it :)

WOOOHOOO sunset - what a fabulous night! It sounds fantastic for you, im so glad to hear something going good for you - you deserve it! You sound so smitten for him and vice versa...i hope you do take it slow and well done on holding back and having some self respect - it speaks volumes!

Keep up the good work - and yes, keep posting!

Thanks, Lion! I just got an email from him asking me for our next date. He knows I had TV taken out of my house several months ago and asked if I wanted him to bring over some movies some time soon.

I think we should have a few more dates in public, however, as I don't trust myself alone with this hottie. :ghug3

The sober you can see that which is a fabulous thing - I agree, hang out in public for as long as you can hold off LMAO

I just invited him to go hiking on Sunday with me and dog and his two dogs. And I have plans Sunday night, so no risk of it moving into night time. I'm avoiding the movie night for now. LOL

Sounds like a great date....and not much drinking can be done when hiking with dogs ;)

HA! You didn't know the old me! LOL I have a picnic basket/backback that holds two bottles of wine and an opener! OY!

LOL, too right. You're an alcoholic. Any chance to have a drink instead of actually enjoying ourselves ;)
