I made day 4 without drinking, just ate a good meal, and feel better than I have in years!!! Itching to go bike riding after supper!!

Went for a nice bike ride. Got new ink for my printer. Spiffed up my resume.

Made it through my sixth day of sobriety (unless I do something stupid in the next few minutes)! Yeaaaah!

I woke up really early without a hangover and got up and did a lot of housework and made some phonecalls I had been putting off. Now I'm just relaxing and reading through this new forum. It makes me feel less alone to know so many people share the same problem as I do.:ghug

I started taking ginseng to boost my energy today as well.

Hmmm let me see:

I woke up sober.
I havbe laughed today and even get teary eyed.

Taz... I am with you on the feeling thing. My emotions have been at an all time high lately. I have been thinking about family members/friends & loving certain moments in life but also thinking & feeling things that are very heavy (the possibility of losing my father for example) and tears can just start running down my cheek & I feel a great sadness & alone.

Something else to work on & come to terms with I guess.

Its raining outside today & I woke up sober and hangover free YaY!. I am going to go for a nice walk in the rain at lunch time & find a nice coffee shop to sit & read part of one the stacks of books I have piled up.
