Hevyn has 9 months...and a bit
 

I just found this out - typical of Hevyn really - she's a quiet achiever LOL

Despite occasional quibbles over language (:)) she's one of my best friends here, and one of the people here who inspires me the most....not only with her support and love for others but her success in staying the course.

She reminds me that I can - we all can :)

Um, thank you Dee - what an unexpected surprise.

There isn't one of you I could do without. Everyone is special to me in their own way. Some of you have a great sense of humor, reminding me that I don't have to be somber and serious just because I no longer drink. (I was worried about that.)
Some have suffered unbelieveable pain and hardship, yet keep going and trying to make sense of it all. That teaches me to stop whining and be thankful for the life I have, even though I tried my best to destroy it. The days I don't get chance to check in here are days I feel lonely and scared, & I don't think that's a coincidence. The warmth that emanates from this forum keeps me feeling loved and safe. SR has been my AA, my rehab, my support system. The day I accidentally stumbled in here, broken and alone, was a day that changed my life.
