Campral

Has anyone any experience with the med Campral?

Yes. I've been taking Campral since I got out of detox about a six weeks ago. So far, I have no complaints at all. Well, except for the price. It's a fairly new drug and they don't yet have a generic for it, so my co-pay was still $50 for a 30 day supply. Yikes!

I'm lucky, my shrink gave me samples enough for nearly three months. It's supposed to help with cravings and restore the brain's chemical balance. It seems to be helping me but doesn't seem to be as effective for some. It takes a while to start working.

Ask your doctor if you have any questions cause I'm not a doctor.

Hello.. I have been taking Campral for over 4 months now. I have pretty much zero alcohol cravings. It seems to be working very well. I also have been going to meetings as much possible and work the NA program. I am actually more of an alcoholic. I hope this helps you.
