Ending day 24 with some relaxation and Mediterranean food. Grateful I began my sober journey before the new year.

I always start the January one a little early cos the group is always pretty big,

It’s about 3 and a half hours away til 2023 here :)

Good morning Folks,
. I have some nice non drinking plans for this weekend.
I'm spending NYE at my son's house.
He has a very welcoming cozy home.
they are non drinkers.
His wife is very sweet.
I have two grandsons and two granddogs who are always spastic when papa shows up!
My son makes an excellent Korean Barbecue and
I told him that I will pick up about 3 lbs of jumbo snow crab and a couple lbs jumbo shrimp.
He looked a little dismayed and I said, " now don't go out and buy more or I'll be pissed!"
I said this as he spends money like a drunken sailor and eats seafood like an orca.
He smiled and said," papa, you know me too well"
Anyway I picked up 5 lbs snow crab plus shrimp,
I hope he's happy with that.
We'll wear PJs and watch Top gun and Top gun II, I've never seen either.
Then when I head home NYD all liquor stores are closed anyhow, so an easy sober weekend ahead.
I hope you all have a great NYE and realize that YOU CAN make this one of your best years ever!

It’s not quite the New Year here yet, but so far it’s been a great day! I just completed a 90 minute dance class, and man was it awesome! I feel good and I’m happy. I guess you could say I’m feeling blessed today.

Committed to my sobriety today on day 25!
