Looking like a great day to be sober. I have been very moody this week but today I feel steady. You work through things without realizing it when you are sober. I tried to not focus on the negative, but I have to roll around in it a little sometimes. Yes, grief..difficulties, uncertainty. Those feelings are real and need to be acknowledged. Then OK Bye. :). It will be ok. I am ready to enjoy my home and weird life...haha.

Off to shower and get down the hall to do some coding.

Had an early morning shift with the Samaritans which went well and then I queued outside the supermarket for ages and did the weekly shop. So, a very productive morning. Felt a bit annoyed that when I got home and my husband had done zero home schooling with the children because they were waiting for me to come home. Why??? I've been up since 4.45am, why couldn't he have done some work with them? Anyway, deep breaths.... not worth getting wound up about it. I did a couple of hours of work with the children and now I'm going to wrap my son's birthday presents and try to get my latest short story finished because the closing date for the competition is tomorrow. I've got another shift with the Samaritans tomorrow and then I'll be turning the house into a zoo in honour of my son's birthday. Lockdown is definitely getting into it's own rhythm and I'm impressed with our ability as humans to adapt. There was definitely a cheerier vibe in the supermarket earlier. Before now, people have been very suspicious and guarded.... no eye contact.... understandable really when strangers walking past could be toxic. However, today I noticed more smiles and even some laughter. We were all social distancing but there just seemed to be a bit more common humanity in the air. Which was nice. Oh, and in other news, I received a letter yesterday saying that I've been randomly selected to take part in a research study that involves me being tested for Covid-19. Apparently, these letters have been sent out to random people all over the UK to try to get more of an understanding of how many healthy people in the community may have the virus. Hopefully it will give an idea of any hot spots within the country. I feel very honoured to be able to take the test. Hope everyone is doing ok. Love to everyone and 24 more for me please xxx

Does the thank button work? Sometimes it’s there, sometimes not. I used it but it seems like the thanks don’t stick, and no one else is thanking which is odd too. Is this feature still in development?
