Hi, We had beautiful weather today, I just love British Columbia! It's as gorgeous as I remember. The little Broom Shop in Crawford Bay is still there, so I bought myself one I can hang in my kitchen. We're staying in Nelson, in a B&B above Baker Street. Eh? Probably won't stay in Nelson again. We all feel we could have strolled Baker Street, shopped, eaten lunch and continued on with our Road Trip. Live & Learn.😁 So, checking in for my next 24 hours too! :grouphug: Bobbi |
6am Check in... Brandnewday, Venuscat, Soberleigh, Jack - Thank you for the kind Birthday messages :) Yesterday was perfect! I woke early yesterday morning and had some time to reflect and get my head in a good place and decided to see the Birthday as a real turning point, a new year in my life / a new start... Had the BBQ with my Mum & Dad and just relaxed with them all day in the garden, it was bliss. Later on I came back to where I live and called round to a friends to finish the day off with tea and cake, can't even believe I'm even writing this! "tea and cake" wouldn't be seen for dust previous years, I'd still be drinking now and carry on for a few days and mess everything up. Anyway it went well, It's now day 8, I feel happy!!!! Sober and HAPPY! Hope this feeling lasts and the days keep mounting up! Peace, love and strength to each of you! ANOTHER 24 PLEASE :) K x |
