Very grateful today for not using mind or mood altering substances. I don't have to wake up tomorrow morning with the regret that I did one more time that didn't work before. Letting it go one day at a time. Seeking help from higher power and you all. Thanks for my recovery!:thanks |
Me too ShenzyT, no more day ones, just one day at a time. I'll ask for the humility to ask for help when I need it and know that I need it more than my ego wants to allow. Deflate the ego, practice humility and I will live to tell my story one more day. |

Good morning all! I got an unexpected text from a friend last night. She and her husband were our best couple friend when I was married. She was reaching out really. Her son is 17 with mental health problems. It's so sad he's a lovely boy. Anyway I'm calling her tonight for a good talk. She knows everything about my history and has been so supportive so now it's my turn to step up. I'm so grateful to be able to be there for her now. 24 more hours of freedom for me please! ❤❤❤ |
