Well done everyone celebrating a milestone! Feeling so peaceful it's almost eerie. Don't get me wrong, it's not peaceful here in the normal sense of the word. Kids are fighting, dog is going crazy looking for his ball and smoke alarm keeps sqwarking at me and I can't work out how to make it stop. It's got new batteries - what more does it want from me?? But I feel peaceful. I feel like everything is just as it should be. Apart from maybe the smoke alarm. That's actually becoming really annoying. 24 more hours please xxx Oh those darn smoke alarms!!!! We're the new batteries really 'new' or had they been hanging around for a while? Sometimes, a spider will get in there: maybe, try vacuuming the device!!!! Peace!!!! |

Been having insomnia due to work worries and summer heat so unraveling that is my main goal this weekend. Missed checking in a couple days this week, but I'm still here! 8 weeks tomorrow and I can't believe it's been that long already. Thank God, something "clicked" after what seems like hundreds of day 1s. No big weekend plans, except a ride in my grandson's sweet convertible to get ice cream tonight! He let me drive it yesterday (94 Mustang GT v8 manual drive) and I hadn't driven a stick in about 10 years. As I took off down the road, he smiled and said, "You still got it, Grandma!!!"
