Checking in for 24 hours. The past 24 have been quite good. One of the benefits of meditation is it helps to subdue my mind. As well, to focus on what is important. Last night went to my Buddhist Centre. I am beginning to feel part of the community. There is a lovely warmth in feeling like you belong to something. I've not really experienced that before. Congrats to the Ox ! A month is a significant milestone ! For me, it was proof to my sponsor that I didnt need to go to rehab ;) Keep moving forward, one moment at a time. It only gets better. Kris, my thoughts are with you and your DH. Godspeed for a full recovery. Another 24 hours of serenity, loving kindness and sobriety pls ! Its 8:29am here ! first day of winter... chilly 6 degrees here this morning.. we Queenslanders don't deal well with the cold.. and we won't talk about the State of Origin... 😬 |
