Iseemed to have bumped into this place somehow

Neoo- you say so few words, 'going on about it?' - go on...and on...and on...if it helps. You know I am a man of few words myself, but.....

LEIGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YES I DID GET THE MOZZIE SIGN...I can think and breathe at the same time.
About these adventurous cakes. Where is the girl who used to just decorate the simple sponge with an instant coffee? Those cakes, offensively were (if this thread is a virtual house) in different rooms. I had to run from one room to the other, trying to ascertain which one I HAD to have to survive. The more I ran, the more frantic I got. Finally with such furvoured, frenetic running, I hit my head on the lintel and knocked myself out. No cake. so everyone lost. No one was the winner, my girl- now go to your room and think about that...

BTW- no contest, one had coffee.

Sweet Sober Dreams, Everyone.

The cakr thing, methinks was Leigh in this case. But my silly point is the cakes are getting so creative I was likening it to which was better. It is still the one with coffee. So apols for any confusion.
I will now make a coffee- with hazelnut and choc stuff in honour of young Kris and Leigh,. AVE! Cake sharers- for those about to have coffee- we salute thee!!!

PhoenixJ 05-30-2017 04:57 PM

Perhaps a coffee/cake syrup combo?

Hi,
I'm doing an early check in today. Thanks to my HP, AA, & SR.

It's been a very long week. But, my sweet Ken is driving home tonight! He's been at his Mom's house since last Wednesday. She has been in the hospital since last Wednesday night.😓 All Ken's brothers are back in the area and are with my MIL at the hospital.

They really needed a Caregivers break big time! But, in this last week my MIL has really not done well physically or mentally. Not really eating in 6 days. She has had just nibbles when Ken begs her to eat or the Doc's want to put in a feeding tube. Also aggressive & combative, not really speaking. A month she was her normal self, I don't know what else to say, none of us has been down this path before.
Love to all,
Bobbi

Hugs for you and many prayers your family, Bobbi. Dementia is truly an insidious disease.

I found caregiving to be, simultaneously, a privilege, a gift and one of the most challenging endeavors I have ever undertaken.
