I feel sooooo much better after a full night of sleep. Everything is fresh and clear once again. ☺️

Abriella- great about your diamond. I mentioned it to a few people and we all thought it was not looking good. I am glad we were wrong (must be a first for me), So a question- the rest of the day with the spilt coffee was not that bad after all? PJ

Hi everyone. Sorry I have not been around much and have not posted. It has been a rather stressful time of late with my sister. Have done hours of talking on the phone to try and talk her down from a very bad place. It has been extremely stressful. We live 3000 miles apart so can't even pop over to see her. Her husband is not very supportive and she does not have any friends. Things have now settled down now.
Will be catching up on everybody's posts today. Thinking of you all. Xx

Last night I had another opportunity to have wine, but was able to say no. I have to admit I am really struggling. It has me to a point where I am getting depressed. Winter here in the north always depresses me anyway. It is so cold outside right now, the older I get the more I freeze when it is cold outside. Well, I have to stop complaining.

I am thankful that I can come here and complain and all of you understand. Thank you. Peace 😘

Ingeborg... I hate the cold too. It was absolutely freezing this morning. No worries here... complain away! That's what we are here for. Congrats on 3 days. :)

Phoenix... I was absolutely thrilled when I looked down and saw the diamond. Such a relief. The coffee all over my desk, along with my broken shoe, wasn't that bad at all!! ;)

Ingeborg, the struggle is so worth it, YOU are so worth it! Hurray on the wine decline, I have been avoiding any situation that I may be offered alcohol, so I applaud your strength!

This is my Monday of a 4 day work week. I made it through my 3 days off without drinking! My AV didn't put up as much of a fight as I had expected, She was doing her best on my friday and had me worried for my weekend. Even going to the store with all those wine boxes and bottles lined up everywhere I turned, I told myself no, and walked on, didn't turn around.

On day 22 with 30 days just around the corner!:dance1:

I've also been avoiding any and all situations that might include alcohol.. I'm anxious enough as it is! Seclusion is the only way I can do it. I have so much respect for all of you that continue to work and attend to daily errands while going through these first weeks!

Had a very productive day. I'm feeling good. Bf is feeling pretty weird and tired all the time. I thought he was angry with me but I have to be careful since I try to find problems with everything and overanalyze. Trying to accept he is feeling crappy and maybe it isn't about me

Grocery stores are the worst badge! Good job making it through the long weekend. Friday is just another day. Another great sober day.

Phew. 70 days. I'm productive, happy, getting my life back on track. Just keep swimming nobenders!

Feeling confused, as told my daughter that I was depressed and she offered to buy me a beer. SHE KNOWS I HAVE A PROBLEM! She has seen the chaos it creates, and what it does to me. What's the go there?

I didn't even have to think about it and said, "no, I don't drink". Why would she do that? Makes me sad, but am proud that I had no trouble in declining.

Sorry I can't respond to everyone as I would like, just feeling really depressed. Have doctors appointment tomorrow.

Crack on everyone, and hope you are right Dee when you say it DOES get better.
