I say this while I can hear my two kids fighting downstairs while I'm getting dressed. Argh. Can't leave them alone for two minutes.

Thanks, Dee. I know you're right but phone posting doesn't work too well for me. Once back online traditionally I expect to be back regularly. In the meantime I will continue to keep up and keep trying.

Good morning everyone! Day 28.

This week has been so busy getting my kids ready to go back to school. Things really need to slow down! I'm exhausted but at least I don't have time to drink!

I've also been going to AA meetings nearly every day so that takes a lot of time but works wonders for me!

Day 145. It was on this day last year that I decided to drink again. That won't be happening today. I don't drink anymore.

Off work. Headed out to do a bunch of errands right now, ending with a noon AA meeting. Hope everyone has a safe and sober day. If you haven't checked in lately, do so ASAP. Even if you've been drinking--no judgement here. Get in here, get accountable, figure out what you need to do different and do it. We're here to help.

On my way home from work and my AV is being a pest....not craving but just annoying thoughts. Passing the liquor store as I type this (no I'm not driving - the parking for my work is right next door - go figure) and saying a big F-U!! Tomorrow is my mid-year review at work and I can't imagine showing up for that after a night of drinking....so peach iced tea it is!!

Dave lives around the block from me, he is a very down to earth Rocker, good man.

Congrats on four weeks to KiKi and on 60 days to Bobbieka and the Goat. Keep on doing the next right thing, my friends!
