24 more please

courage2 02-03-2016 08:03 AM

Today. It's 10:54 a.m. & I'm sober. Wasn't always the case at this hour.

Thanks for the congratulations. This thread helped me a lot during a period when I really needed to do service & be part of a daily community. To anyone out there who's struggling, I urge you to stick around. I know I know none of us have ever been "joiners" -- just give it a solid try. Learn everyone's names. Comfort and be comforted.

Special thanks to strat & v for your service to this thread and to all the regulars who show up with their commitment and encouragement for one another, every day. This is a warm & wonderful place.

I'm committed to 24 more! Almost 12:45pm in Florida :-)

Neo & NGB you can beat this. We all are here for you! We have all had the same struggles. It's how we lean on each other and believe in ourselves that get us thru this. It's something we all deal with and manage every single day, hour and minute. Hugs!!

VW - 2 days! Whoohoo!!! Great job :-)

Howdy folks

6:25pm in the UK and coming up to the end of day 2 - not great considering how far down the road so many of you are but this is the first time I've managed 2 days in a row since the beginning of December.

I'm feeling headachy and shivery and a bit out of sorts and I never used to have a hangover as such BUT knowing that in the not to distant future I will have a propery memory and clear head back this is so worth it !!!

Hang on in there anyone struggling, if I can do this I'm sure you can. Congratulations to those keeping it going x

ForgiveMeAll 02-03-2016 10:34 AM

Virginawoof this is so with it! The first few days are horrible but each day it gets better and better and easier!

:-)

Dharma33 02-03-2016 10:34 AM

24 more please!

If you are struggling, please don't drink just for today!! Stay here on SR; we will get through it together!

Courage; congrats on 2 years! :scoregood
