Hi all from rural SE Arizona. Im back for another sober 24 hours at 5:23 Mountain Standard time. I have been battling a session of depression and anxiety over the past few weeks. It has been an exceedingly unpleasant time. I self medicated one night with gin , made it infinitely worse, went back to sobriety and am on the mend. I had to reset my sober clock but at least I had nearly two years sober under my belt. Next time I think I'll seek counseling. Thanks for your patience. |

I don't know how vacation goes by so fast.... Made it home in record time yesterday, and really appreciated the drive. The little things are so much more meaningful these days. Another good perk of consecutive sobriety is clearing out that head space, isn't it? I started meditating while I was away. Sitting quietly with myself has always been a challenge. Hugs to all- it's a glorious autumn day here in New England. |
