24 more for me, please. Made it thru the party with my sobriety in tact despite there being booze out the wazoo. Two interesting observations: #1. I wasn't even tempted! I don't drink. Period. Having that mindset helps tremendously and after 14 months it's my new normal. I can tell you with no uncertainty that I actually love it! #2. No one (& I mean no one) got drunk, passed out, slurred their words, made an idiot of themselves, hooked up, cried or threw up. It was the craziest thing. People can actually drink normally - it's a head scratcher for sure. ;) In this odd way it made me feel even better about sobriety. Headed home today. Hugs & love to all. |

I saw the gift of sobriety yesterday, I raise 7 kids in two marriage only two are my but I try my best for them to see each other as family. I saw them getting alone fine yesterday afternoon, it was my younges daughter birthday she turn 14 and my oldes is 25, 2 grandkids. My sobriety is affecting them too. For the next 24 hrs. With God's help I will be sober and drug free. I wish you a fantastic Sunday to you all. |
