Cloudy but very warm here this morning. We've had some of our best summer weather in September this year.

Have a great weekend, overs!

Morning all.
Instant we often hold it together as things are happening then fall apart when we can relax and allow it. It's human nature, not specifically an addictive mind. Be kind to yourself. X

IP, sorry to hear you had a bad day I hope the weekend is better

Drake, how was your Friday?

DG, good luck with the car repairs. I always showed my female pupils how to change a wheel , I never wanted them at the mercy of whatever psycho could come across them on a quiet country road with a flat! I am not ignorant under the hood, but I couldn't change ann engine. I fall somewhere in between.

Dee enjoy your relaxing weekend

Itchy, zip, FBL, Carlos hugs my lovelies xx

DrakeCKC 09-20-2014 05:37 AM

My Friday was sort of OK. Did a lot of personal stuff and not much work, errands and all. So wanted to join the SR chat meeting, but I could not get in, along with some others. Probably a SR chat issue, it seems. But I missed the meeting and spent the rest of the night fussing with the computer thinking it was my issue. Who knows, still may be.

Two outdoor art fairs this weekend in town. One is a big fancy one, the other a more local and affordable one. I can walk to both so plan on doing them. There is a ceramic artist at the local one and I always buy a bowl or mug or something useful from him. Sunday is a pug party nearby.. HRH may make an appearance.

So that is it from here Overs, have a great weekend!

Brilliant. Just lost my post as I decided to go back and edit something in the middle of it. I should know better by now. That always happens.

Anyway, yesterday I did manage to replace the parts on the car that I was trying for, so that was a major win for me. Down side was that it didn't fix my problem so I have more to do. It's been a really good learning experience for me though.

I hope everyone has a good weekend.

Good evening Overs

Drizzle here all day.

stevie88 09-20-2014 12:51 PM

In on the new thread...14 hour shift at work followed by a tough , tiring hour in the gym...Now back home with a huge Chinese take away and a pint of ice cream for afters...

Ate well today with roughly 4000 calories consumed and my target weight of 12.5 stone by Christmas is looking reachable....Not bad considering I was only 7 stone when I quit booze.

I hope everyone is fine and dandy...

Take care....Steve.

Hey Steve you are pumping it and growing- on the other hand I am thinking of having a go at the 5:2 diet see if it will get my blood pressure down like they said on 60minutes.

Thanks for the tips guys- OK I am mortal !!

Great day here in the great south land- will get out on the bike and do some gardening jobs.

Toots - Well, I survived Referendum Friday! A lot of very mixed feelings for many many people....

Went for a little evening out last night to listen to a folk band which was really good but had to get up early this morning so have been very tired today but was revived by chairing an AA meeting this evening. Going to bed soon though and plan to sleep in lol :)

Thanks for the new thread Dee!

Morning Overs

Its nice and sunny this morning ! We're busy moving house and forgot to arrange transfer of our broadband and cable. Ooops....so, probably no internet and cable TV for a while. Thankfully I will be traveling, hehe. Partner and kids are very, very unimpressed :(

Have a lovely evening/ day !

DrakeCKC 09-20-2014 06:03 PM

Feeling, I stayed up late to watch the referendum returns here. I thought Highland, Moray and Fife would never declare!

Busy Saturday here. Got to the art fairs and bought my annual bowls and a mug. Lunch with a friend and a long walk with HRH ended the day.

Have a great evening, night, morning... whatever you have in front of you!

DG0409 09-20-2014 06:14 PM

Drake- The art fairs sound like they would be really fun. Wish I could have gone too.

Dee-what happened to the Jim Henson avatars? Is it a new Dee? New house, new man?

LSC1 09-21-2014 12:21 AM

HI All

Emotions suck. I feel like I have an emotional hangover today. I just CAN'T get motivated. I know I just need to ride it out and I will... It is the holidays and i can have days like today if I need to.

I have been reading most of your posts.

Take care all.
