Hi all! Day 27 here and feeling pretty good! I will take this for the blessing that it is. New York City and its immediate area is actually a great place to see birds, especially waterfowl but others as well. The day before yesterday I saw several Great Blue Herons wading near the shore of the lower Hudson River from the train to Poughkeepsie.
