Wake me up!

I remember a time when I would drive around and listen to the song below Wake Me Up and just cry out to God or whoever was out there at the time. I felt lost and stuck in a world I wouldn't choose for my own son let alone myself. But I had chosen it and I was living it. Each day adding more shame to my horrific story.

If you feel like I did, you can wake up. believe that you are worth so much more then all of that. Don't believe the shameful voices that tell you that you are worthless or that you will never amount to anything or that you can not get clean and sober. Don't believe the voices that say you are unlovable and unforgivable. Those are lies that come from a dark place. I know they are not from My God. My God don't make junk.

It is possible to wake up. Step out of that fear and try something different, anything different than what you are doing if it is not working. Take suggestions. Ask people with sober/clean time how they are doing it. And have an open mind. We can all do it and we will, if we don't give up hope ever! God Bless you all!
