er...i studdy english history on my own and use to run circles aroung the PHD history students :)

I can hold my own...er oh well i could..forgot most of it now....

i'll take history, and once i get my map of england in the mail next week i can take on backup for the geography...

A fair comment on the entire thread in general ?

USA are winning 1 - 0 against Spain in the semi's.

Its no fair, of all the countries that would love to be there, even if it is just the confederations cup, and there's USA in them and 99% of their population either won't know or won't care !!!!!!!!!

Go USA!!!!!! My daughter had played soccer since 1st grade, she's 20 now and still plays. Big sport for girls here.

I'm just intreged, it would be a massive event in almost any country in the world if they were to beat the current European champions and reach the Confederations cup final.

fizzy, will i need a gps to get around scotland in my rental car...or are the roadmaps good enough???? I don't want hiways....back roads are better, but prefer paved :)

Not a necessity Nands, we're a small country so finding your away about shouldn't be a problem.

We don't have a satnav in the car, mind you I know where I'm going !!!!!

Theres only a few big cities/towns and they tend to be well signposted.

Getting lost is half the fun Nands :)

But if you come across a pub called the Slaughtered Lamb run like hell :)
