i did some this morning, some windexing. :) we cooked on our indoor grill last night - that's a mess. my mom called and she is windexing too!

i made brushcetta last night as an appetizer. i had never made it myself, only had it out. it was good, a big hit. almost a meal really. need to grow tomatoes and basil.

I know the plants get leggy. I knew the plants would get leggy. My plants are leggy. We didn't have the light built until just yesterday so some of them are leggy already. Hopefully they will adjust to the light and start to strengthen up.

* Ro when seedlings are leggy it means they are stringy and not strong. They grow all weird looking for the light. Usually a window is not enough to start seeds.

* I have never grown anything but flowers and vegetables :eek13:.

I am dogsitting for my neighbor's two dogs for the next week. Four dogs in the house! A week long dog party should be lots of fun. This afternoon I'm taking pk out for dinner - prime rib at my favorite restaurant. That should be fun.

I took them this morning. Also had some chamomile tea to calm down. I'll feel a lot better I'm sure after my huge prime rib dinner this afternoon! I wrote a letter to dk and will give it to her foster mom to give to dk. I hope she can forgive me for being such a b!tch last night.

Had to go to my vet this morning to get ear mite medicine for my cat, King Tut Uncommon. Had to get special food for ck's cat, very expensive. Had to get heartworm drops for my dogs. Total bill was $140... but I'm grateful I had the money to pay for it.

Wrote a letter of apology to dk and gave it to her foster mom to give to her. I hope she can forgive me for being such a b!tch last night.

Still raining here and my ceiling upstairs is leaking - again.:c004: Supposed to be getting a new (shingle) roof put on... can't wait til that happens. Blind boy keeps tripping over the buckets I put under the leaks.

Today..tying up last loose ends of the restraining order. Then it's done.

File proof of service with the court..turn in copies to sheriff and police...

I had forgotten how much paperwork is involved since the last one...

busy this morning planning a bday party for my mom-in-law. we're gonna do a hawaiian theme :) i hope she likes it..it's a pretty conservative group, so we'll stay away from anything too tacky wacky. should be a fun menu to plan though. i am glad it's not at my house. too much work!

we're going out for a fish fry with the family birthday group tonight, least. mr k likes lobster for his bday dinner out, but hopefully he will be satisfied with some fried cod.
