FizzyWater 02-08-2009 01:30 PM

Pixy1 02-08-2009 01:33 PM

TheWonkydonkey 02-08-2009 01:45 PM

Nands in "not on first page" shock

Pixy1 02-08-2009 01:47 PM

Horror!!

Ananda 02-08-2009 01:47 PM

I was fixing the fecking radiator!!!!!

thanks guys (hug)

Ananda 02-08-2009 01:52 PM

So...the temperature guage is probably broke and I know how to temporarily replace that with a 6 pack peice of cardboard....on the old style radiator...no idea what to do with this one.

In the old versiion of radiators, if the gauge went out it would blow the hoses and you were screwed...don't know what will happen when i drive this to the mechanics tomarrow morning...just hope it makes it :(

lostbutterfly 02-08-2009 02:13 PM

Turn your back for a second nands!! And you're right allport. You really have let the side down, not queueing in an orderly fashion. You'll be denouncing marmite next!

allport 02-08-2009 02:22 PM

Do you know Pixy I like marmite but I don't really love it or anything.

Am I the only one who neither loves nor hates it, I think not, Marmite likers of the world stand up and be counted.:lmao

lostbutterfly 02-08-2009 02:32 PM

Now I think about it, I'm not sure I completely love it either. I think maybe it is more of a "like". I'm going to have to review my entire outlook on the marmite question.

Night.
LBx

allport 02-08-2009 02:44 PM

Sorry Lost I thought it was Pixy questioning the lovability of marmite it is the kind of thing she would do lol.

FizzyWater 02-08-2009 02:46 PM

I'm hearing you'se and I'm with you.

Yes I like marmite but when it comes down it, I can take it or leave it.

On billboards everywhere.

Marmite, its OK.

colagirl 02-08-2009 02:53 PM

You have all reminded me that I need to order up some of this marmite I've heard so much about. Nands sent me a link forever ago but I'd forgotten about it.

To set the record straight on the queue-jumping, I also denounce those among us on this side of the pond who insist on doing that. Especially when they are wearing too-short jeans, bright-white sneakers and a fanny pack. Nands, I really hope you're not one of those people.

Fizz - when you say you aren't sure you would have said no had someone offered you a drink, that's exactly how I've felt for the past few days. I've even hoped that someone would offer me a drink because in my head that would have been justification to drink it. I really hope that feeling is going away now.

Ananda 02-08-2009 04:11 PM

OMG....i only LIKE marmite too...just told someone that the other day! I may have to change my signature line.....nooooo...it stays awaiting timmy's return.

Ally...now you will hve to post here more often....I mean, first in line???? It carries some responsiblity!!!!

We gotta get sparkey over here too....I would love to see sparky and Wonkey get in a "lively discussion".....Cant you see it Ally????

CG - I think when people talk about an HP helping them stay sober, that is why the "law of cause and effect" works so well for me....you see, we set things up with our actions so that in those moments of weakness it isn't likely that the boat will tip over....thats why letting people know we don't drink is helpful....isn't likely someone will offer us one if we have told them we don't drink.

staying where my hands are....doing the next indicated thing...and the law of cause and effect....cumulate in more security that sobriety will continue in my life.

LB...glad you are hitting an NA meeting....I did those for years and though i only do AA now and they are interchangeable for me, it certainly represents a change for you, and it may be something that is key for you at this time to beat those pills.

:ghug

TheWonkydonkey 02-08-2009 11:15 PM

You're all just fookin weird

Marmite is black gold, a gift from the yeast gods

Pix, LB what day we on?

Pixy1 02-08-2009 11:58 PM

Day 6 :headbang:

Slept well again, got to get ready for work now. I have had SR by my side for a full 7days, well 9 if you include last weekend :(

Allport I agree on the marmite thing, I like the stuff but It wouldn't bother me if I never had it again.

TheWonkydonkey 02-09-2009 01:43 AM

You are all freaks

I'm starting to wonder if this place is for me
