A tithe (from Old English teogoža "tenth") is a one-tenth part of something so I can spare you 124 only I am afraid.

I am indefatigably pedantic.

stone 01-08-2009 08:03 PM

And also wrong, 10% is 1,238! Pfft, forget it.
LOL

Dee74 01-08-2009 08:11 PM

you are indeed correct Stoney - that'll learn me to wax poetic with my language LOL

for the pedants, purists and pedagogues among you (:eek13:)

stone 01-08-2009 08:27 PM

it was all bout my partner that hung himself 3year ago an a letter i recieved a few days ago written to me by him.

frstnm 01-08-2009 09:49 PM

Was the letter written a long time ago Nickster ?
Can I come over for a quick dip in the pool ?

One of my more financially secure friends has a sign by their pool -
"Welcome to our ool. Please notice that there is no "P" in it. Please, lets keep it that way.
Thanks,
The Management

I heard of a letter that was mailed in the middle of nowhere - somewhere (prolly Maine or Newf-land) and it was written in the 1800s and was finally delivered 70 years later. Apparently, it had gotten caught in the mail sorting slot or something (where they still do it by hand) and it slipped through the proverbial cracks..

Stone and D - please use words I dont have to look up. Im an idiot and even looking it up takes a long time and by that time someone else has complained and you have already defined the word in question.
Thank you.
Carry On !

My soon to be famous quotes and witty recovery t-shirts are $10 each.
$30 for 2 - idiot maith:c029:

Nickkster - :ghug3
That must have been kind of an erie blast from the past.

Having a little easier time now - has it passed ?
Least ?

Tanks D

frstnm 01-08-2009 10:17 PM

Is it unethical to charge $ for recovery t-shirts ?
Does one have to kick up a percentage to AA/NA ?
Kinda like Tony Soprano and his goons ?

A guy's gotta make a living somehow in this economy and my shoveling career is going to be short lived.

All About Love 01-08-2009 10:41 PM

wouldnt say its passed though im finding today easier to deal with first

thanks for asking:Val004:
