Thanks so much K for the offer of a telephone number. I'll keep that in mind. I won't drink, no way in he!! will that happen. But - it's still hard sometimes having to go and protect myself like this. Oh well.

That's really nice that your daughter is there and that the bar is set up in such a way that it's not in her face.

ha! southern missouri, about 400 miles south of chicago. it's always warmer here, but this is kind a fluke for them too. i tried to wash my car this morn at the local carwash, and the cars were lined up 2 blocks!

a little rainy now, but still nice. the fog on the lake is great.

Ananda 12-26-2008 02:28 PM

I'm going outside in just my tshirt to play with the dogs......hope you are all jelous :)

Rowan 12-26-2008 02:44 PM

Yes, I am jealous. I am in an insane asylum for christmas and you're all able to wander freely about! OKAY I've been anti-social long enough - going downstairs for a nice cold gingerale and a bite to eat.

Scaredy, I don't like the Dentist either...when the pain gets bad enough, I go. I have British teeth. http://www.tranceaddict.com/forums/i...11/noteeth.gif

These breaks usually last a week at the most Dee, I hope this time is the same.

Hi Nands, K and Ro. :)

Can you swap the urinal Ro? Although it is fitting, you could keep it in your car for when you get caught short!

Hi K, good luck at scrabble!

gypsytears 12-26-2008 04:19 PM

Hi K . I'm glad your trip is working out.

Ro, I don't envy you being in such a stress filled situation. I do think the gift is fitting though... keep it in the car like stoney said :lmao.

Dee... what's with the questioning? You know it's just a message board. You can come and go as you please. Read, post, or not. If you're away we miss you ya know, so don't be so selfish by leaving :flirt:.

Detention boy got a sock monkey for Christmas. Now he wants to make his own so we're googling sock monkeys.

This is NOT a good link for him to see (but he saw it already)... Verkstad :: Giant Sock Monkey :lmao.

stone 12-26-2008 04:45 PM

Anatomically correct sock monkey
????

:yikes:

gypsytears 12-26-2008 05:55 PM

6 feet tall at that :lmao.

Wii Fit is hooked up. I just got booted off the balance board by my 8 year old. He said I'm done. I'm better at this than guitar hero though at least ;).

Rowan 12-26-2008 06:03 PM

Made it home. Sober. Yay. Took home two nieces - so I have two 13 yr olds and one 12 yr old for the night. They are playing the Wii - I'm watching them while I tap away on my laptop. It was a good day, overall. The highlight was hanging out in my nieces bedroom - with my daughter and 4 nieces - the youngest was 4 - and we all sang karaoke. Got to play Rock Band too. That was fun.

I hope you get some more time on the balance board, Gyps. Get another TV!

Paul - I left the urinal behind. My sister said I could use it for lemonade or something but it just wasn't my taste, and I'm not sure I could aim well enough to pee in it while sitting in the car. Thanks for thinking of me, though.

gypsytears 12-26-2008 06:22 PM

LOL Ro!

It's fine he pulled the plug on me... I was doing side plank and should have anyway. I did get to unlock Sun Salutation before he kicked me off at least (not really sun salutes but close enough).

We can hook another Wii up when we move actually. Mr. GT bought a whole new console because he plans on taking the older one apart to see if he can modify it so he can dl the games. He wanted a back up one in case he effs it up. But once we move... I can set one up with the Wii Fit and leave the kids to GH and Rock band in the TV room we're putting them in.

I'm watching HGTV... top renovating mistakes. Very timely ;).

Good night peeps :Xmasob.
