Great job, Paco ! Fabulous job, man ! How else is Life going ?
I’ve had a couple of minor slips, but minor. Quickly recognized and got back in the saddle. Life is good here - no complaints. Pot almost seems like a non-issue, well at least in this moment and many others. There are still times, for sure, but they pass, they always do. The urge arises, I see it, I hear the it’s whisper and then I watch it pass on as something else shows up on the screen. Hope Life is treating you well, my friend.

Good to have you back and dedicated to abstinence HC :)

Hey HC! I'm glad to hear from you! Great to know you are doing fine!

Sober life is actually awesome. I feel you, right now pot feels like a "non-issue" to me too. Life is treating me well, but I think it's because I'm treating myself well ! LOL.

12 weeks today! :)

I wish you and everyone a great week :)

FlyingDutchMan 02-05-2018 11:48 AM

Hi Everyone,

Back again, lost 2 jobs in the meantime, nearly lost my marriage/family etc. Alcohol free since Christmas, feeling positive. hope you all well :) Looking for new job now and determined to stay clean. Also quit the cigarettes (day 6 now) feeling much better. Finding Campral a great help. :)

Congrats, Paco ! You should feel proud of yourself - great accomplishment! How are you feeling now after 3 months clean ?
Hope you treat yourself in some way - you deserve it !!!

FlyingDutchMan 02-12-2018 08:27 AM

Wow, impressive! My hat's off to you dear sir.

Pacoloco 02-12-2018 04:53 PM

Thanks friends.

I feel normal, which is great :)

Pacoloco 02-21-2018 03:40 AM

I had a minor accident this weekend and I'm immobilized, walking with the help of crutches. I'm a bit depressed because of it. The day that happened I craved really hard for the first time, and I had the opportunity to relapse, because weed was right there. But I kept strong and did not cave in.

So I'm very proud of myself. 100 days :)

FlyingDutchMan 02-21-2018 03:55 AM

I can imagine, that's great! 100 days is a long time!

Good for you that you didn't relapse. Makes you stronger the next time you feel cravings.

Thumbs up for you Pacoloco!

happycampers 02-21-2018 05:59 AM

Way to go, Paco ! Excellent job, my friend !

Dee74 02-21-2018 04:23 PM

4 months :)

lynnmarie123 03-12-2018 06:01 AM

Congrats Paco!
How are you feeling about it? Do you still get thoughts of using or cravings?

FlyingDutchMan 03-12-2018 09:46 AM

Wow Paco, great milestone. Let me know how it will be when I get there (in a month and a half)!

I'm actually feeling low these days, because I'm still injured and walking with a crutch, it sucks.

I don't have any cravings and I don't even think of using, I don't know why.

4 months is nice but it is a really short time if you think about it. It is just the beggining. But it is a progress and it's worth the effort.

Dee74 03-13-2018 03:00 AM

I hope you'll be able to retire the crutch soon Paco :)

I never thought those things could have such an impact, but I am seeing the same thing happening to my girlfriend. What's the prognosis? How long will you have to use them? In the mean time: stay strong!

golfreggie 03-13-2018 02:09 PM

Hey there Paco (I'll drop the loco, as it appears that has slipped away!) Commendations for 4 months. And I can tell you exactly how it happened, without even knowing you, One Day at a Time! And, if you live long enough, don't use or drink, one day at a time, that year will be here before you know it. And, guess what, you will start understanding things and it will be hard for anyone to stop you from sharing YOUR experience, strength and hope, and as you do you will find a new freedom and a new happiness like you've never experienced before. Your devastating weakness will be your source of strength, best wishes

Few more weeks I guess. But a couple months to return to sports and such. It sucks but it's nothing too serious. Nevertheless, I'm having a hard time having a positive attitude about it. I'm really depressed these past few days, but it will pass soon. Life is a struggle, always. I guess it just gets tiring sometimes.

Thanks for asking. Have a great day.

FlyingDutchMan 03-14-2018 12:21 PM

I feel for you man! And (today especially) I can relate to that struggle-of-life-sentence (the words, not the punishment). Better days are ahead for us. It must be. Wish I had some good tips for you but at the moment I don't. Just an advice to check in here as often as possible if it makes you feel better.

FlyingDutchMan 03-20-2018 12:16 PM

How's life on crutches Paco? Hope you're feeling more positive these days and I hope the feeling-low hasn't lead to cravings. Drop us a line!

Pacoloco 03-21-2018 09:17 AM

I'm not on crutches anymore, I'm better and having no cravings. Thanks for asking. I'm seeing a physiotherapist, rehabilitation is going well, just need some effort and a lot of patience. I hope soon I'll be swimming in the sea again, which is what keeps me in balance. And how are you, my friend?

xxxNICHOLExxx 03-24-2018 01:32 PM
