Grateful that I will "see" my daughter graduate from college today, it's a virtual presentation of course and I commend all graduates for bearing through these difficult times. Grateful that my youngest is so darn smart and artistic, she's got a lot of opportunity ahead.

Grateful to be sober tonight.

Grateful that myself and my family are well.

Grateful for the men and women who lost their lives for us in the war, it was a very nostalgic day here today, with lots of people having socially distanced street parties, tables and chairs set up in their own driveways, bunting, flags, music etc. It was also very bitter/sweet for me listening to 40's music as that's what we played to my dad during his illness. He never lost his love of music and at the very end of his life it was the only thing that got though to him. Bless him.

Grateful for beautiful sunshiny day.

Grateful for a good cup of tea.

Grateful that Mr D.B watered all my plants outside.

Grateful for my friend Mags, who is always checking up on me.

Grateful that Aly checked in with her doctor.

Grateful that Least's Doctor is such a good man and grateful that her insurance provides transport to and from her appointments. That is so good.

Grateful that there was no home schooling today with it being a Bank holiday for V.E day.

Grateful that Fearless's dad is being moved to 24 hour care, that must be such a relief for you and it is a good thing too.

Grateful that Astro's clever daughter graduated today and grateful that he got to 'see' her. Many congratulations, you must be so very proud, she's a credit to you.

Grateful that Buttermarsh is here with us.

Grateful for each of you.

Keep safe. xxx

Aww, thanks Astro!  So glad you get to see your daughter graduate even though it’s virtual Yes, Daisy, it is a relief. Glad today was a good celebration for you in the UKGrateful for my Dr being available for a video call to discuss my anxiety and of all things an insect bite. Yes, a tiny microscopic green bug bit me a couple days ago when I was in the yard and now my finger is swollen like a sausage. Grateful for antibiotics. Grateful to catch up with a very close friend Grateful to go for a walk with  Mr F and run into a neighbor and his wife whom we both used to work with many moons ago. Grateful to have such a lovely conversation with them Grateful to order some new unique outdoor chairs for the front porch. They are chairs made from wine barrels. I won’t be drinking wine while sitting in them though. Lol.Â

Grateful for a road trip to do some fishing and visit my daughter.

Grateful for a long walk with Billie today, even tho it was cold enough to wear her coat. She trots along, happy to sniff and look around. :)

Fearless, thinking of you and sending prayers as you take care of your dad's business for him.

Fearlessat50 05-09-2020 07:25 PM

Grateful finger is getting better. Still itchy but not as bad as before, and swelling is way downÂ
Grateful to have a nice chat with my Dad. He’s spending a lot of time reminiscing about times from long ago. He’s also having crazy vivid dreams and I am wondering what this means. I am grateful we have this time together and he is comfortable sharing with me.Â

Grateful to spend time with a good friend on a hike today

Grateful for very little wind and nice temperature. Mr F and I had a nice time outsideÂ

Grateful to go to Target and get some shopping done for groceries and other necessitiesÂ

Grateful for each of youÂ

Astro 05-10-2020 08:35 AM

Fearless, my Dad was always surprised to see me alive, he dreamt often that I died in a motorcycle accident. I've also heard that people are having "Covid-19" dreams now due to the added anxiety and stress. I know that mine are more vivid and I'm very restless.
Grateful to all the moms of kids and pets today. I'm grateful for my wife, stepdaughter, and God bless my late mom for putting up with me and my brothers! :D Happy Mother's Day to all of you on SR.

Alysheba 05-10-2020 09:49 AM

I wonder what those vivid dreams do mean for your dad. Fearless, glad you got to talk to Dad. Love and prayers to you both. Glad the finger is better.I've been, I guess sleeping a lot, falling asleep sometimes before I post here and probably sleeping in too late! Love, peace and prayers to all of my Bedtime Gratpackers. All my love. :grouphug:  :wavey:
Hope all our Mothers had a wonderful Mothers Day!

Daisybelle 05-10-2020 03:12 PM

I hope your finger is much better now Fearless, it sounds like it was very painful. My dad had vivid dreams too when he was poorly and he also had hallucinations, it could be a side effect of his medication or even part of his illness. I hope they don't distress him.

Grateful for a sober and peaceful Sunday night.

Grateful that my family and myself are all well.

Grateful to find some hair pins, my hair is long enough now to get into a French pleat. I just need to give my fringe a bit of a chop, which I'll do tomorrow.

Grateful for a relaxing bath and fresh p.j's.

Grateful that my Internet is all fixed now.
Grateful to be here on this journey with you all.

Keep safe.

Happy mother's day to all you wonderful mums, be it to children, step children, people you look after, or fur babies, you are all amazing. We had our mother's day back in March, which seems like forever away now, but I hope that your day is as good as mine was. xxx
