Grateful for a movie date with my daughter after a weekend of housework.

Grateful to be home this evening, ready for an early night. I can hear my cosy bed calling.

Oh, don't worry. A friend of mine is going to try him out with her present pets. If they don't mesh for some reason, we'll have to figure something else out, but he WILL get a good home. I just can't keep him long term.

Attitude of gratitude
 

Tonight I am grateful my kids went to sleep okay. I'm grateful that my husband is sober. I'm grateful for the moments I've had with him being sober but most of all I'm grateful for the gifts I have learned through nar-anon. It's made me a more compassionate person. I am grateful for this and that I can be supportive to others in a positive way without judgement. Today I am grateful for my program.

So grateful tonight for my big bathtub filled with hot water and lavendar essential oil.

Grateful that today I went about eating the elephant the right way -- instead of all at once.

Grateful that I've got work to do even though payments are being held up. Grateful for income "on the books".

Grateful for some Amazon gift cards, I can do a bit of browsing tonight.

Grateful that the Thanksgiving meal at Mom's assisted living went well, certainly better than last year, and that I also had a nice time hanging out with the ex (for once) before, during, and after. Will miracles never cease? teehee.

And grateful for the episodes of classic Doctor Who I'm watching being on Hulu. Dailymotion was just awful. I can actually see real video now. Whoo-hoo!

Grateful to be at work today without a hangover. Turns out I'm a pretty good problem solver! So much easier with a clear head.
