I am grateful that my mother had a peaceful death, didn't suffer, and wasn't alone when she died. I am also grateful for the wonderful mother I had. She made our childhood a lot of fun. I love you mom.

Today I am grateful for waking up early. Sober, and able to plan for the long weekend ahead. I am grateful to hear the crickets in the early morning darkness. I am grateful that I can go away this Labor Day weekend without worrying how I can get enough alcohol in my body to satisfy my physical cravings. I am grateful that I did not lose my job this past year; and that in fact, I got a nice raise.

I am grateful for others who share their struggles, victories, joys and sorrows; here and in AA.

May all beings be happy! May all beings be at peace!

:lmao

Today I am grateful for learning more about myself, which sobriety has helped me do.
For the sun shining down outside and the blue skies.
For my friends here on SR who offer their hand of help when needed.
For the peace I'm feeling at the moment.

Today, right now, and for the rest of the day I am grateful that I am very healthy. I just received a call from my doctor's nurse letting me know about my lab results I had done last Friday morning and all is well! I have great HDL (the good cholesterol) and my liver, spleen, and heart ALL LOOK GREAT!!! Despite I have Celiac Disease but that's something entirely. Just so happy! :) I was worried about my liver there for awhile but it looks to be in perfect shape. Better keep that up! Alcohol free is the way to go.

Just wanted to share.
