for here and as usual at being equally thankful AND amazed my fried brain still heals and I grow cognitively. |
PJ, you are a miracle in motion and I am grateful you are here. Grateful for all my friends here, keeping me grateful every day. https://cache.desktopnexus.com/thumb...gthumbnail.jpg |
for whales |
Grateful for warm autumn days where people still go to the beach...not to see whales, PJ. |
For walks at the sea, where out there- nature is raw...always feel connected, or more so... |
PJ, walks by water, big or small, is calming to the soul and refreshes the senses. I am grateful this morning for family that grows closer as we all grow older. There comes a time when we all support each other and no longer analyze the paths the others chose to take. And for blueberry pancakes, it's good to have blueberry pancakes on a Sunday morning. |
I am grateful for a really fun weekend and meeting some very nice people. i am grateful this thread continues. |
I am grateful for my 5 day vacation to attend a music festival with my brother's family. I love the time I get to spend with my nieces, especially with music involved. |
SmartRose, I hope you have a wonderful time. Grateful for my friends here. https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/i...Eq9ceiIujv25gA |
For the sharp, fresh air in the hills when I go a-drivin'. No whales. |
Grateful for autumn and moose. They go together, I think. PJ, a moose is the Canadian version of a land whale, I think....well, I made that up but I think it is possible. https://i.pinimg.com/originals/38/6a...084cff0fb6.jpg |
Land whales- I see the truth of it. Now it all seems so simple. |
https://www.google.com.au/search?biw...gESBZVObOG4qM: I did not post images- as there are prices, but still! WTH?? Type 'moosewhale' into a search engine, and of course there are results. |
Tonight I feel a natural peace in my soul hitherto not experienced. It will not last of course- but welcome. I am grateful for the Burns Unit, for the counsellors in the Recovery Program and the myriad of professional and others who have thus been part of my journey- which continues to unfold. I still feel the need to break the surface tension of profound statements by writing something absurd. Please take note, Ann Whales evolved from small aquatic hoofed ancestors - Not ... blogs.discovermagazine.com › notrocketscience › 2010/05/07 › whales-ev... May 7, 2010 - According to molecular evidence, the closest living relatives of whales are, quite surprisingly, the artiodactyls, a group of hoofed mammals that includes deer, cows, sheep, pigs, giraffes, camels and hippos. Might that list include Moose , or is it plural meese ? |
^^^^ :groan My head hurts. I am grateful for another warm day by the lake, and a donkey named "Jack" who likes the apples I fetch for him (from the wild crab apple tree nearby). Have you ever looked a donkey square in the eye? It makes them smile. https://i.pinimg.com/originals/49/2c...00352a28ec.jpg |
lordy, those teeth! |
