Teke, you sound like my MIL. SHe raised 6 kids. always cooked. Cooks awesome. LAst week me, Ah and BIL were talking about our favorite meals of hers she got the most disgusted look on her face. The next day we were there and she had individually bagged amounts of ingredients for on \e of her specialties and carefully written out recipe. She ahnded it to my AH and said here go home and fix your family this.

We laughed, but we together mixed and preparedthe meal.

Last night I made my meatloaf. I mix lean gr beef, onions, quick cooking oats, parmesan cheese, egg , tomatoe sause & worchishire sauce. Any seaonings that might be lying around. The I divide it in half, place 1/2 in the bottom of a pan, put in green peppers, mushrooms, mozerella & anything else in the fridge that looks good. Then put the other 1/2 on sealing the edges. Bake for about 50 min then top w more sause & mozerella & bake 10 more min. It's pretty good.

My daughter just called me at work to ask if she could cook dinner tonight. Who would pass that up? So I guess what is on our menu is Chicken Parmesan. It always amazes me how each time I visit this forum, what is happening to me seems to be happening to others at the same time.

kj0975 03-20-2007 03:03 PM

That almost sounds like a meatloaf I could cook. Last time I cooked on well lets just say it was pizza and wing night again. I put Uncle ralph magic sauce with ketchup and its great for the top. Next time your at wegmans see if they have that I love it, its good on everything even chicken wings!
