OT....It's funny now...
 

but it wasn't yesterday.
I recently met a guy that I thought might be "worth"
getting to know. He called me Saturday and asked me
if I wanted to meet him Sunday afternoon as he was in
a bean bag tournament. I figured why not so I went.
Let me just say I wasn't the only one he called.
There were 4 other women there too!!!!!!
I couldn't believe it.
I brought a girlfriend with me so at least I wasn't alone.
We stayed for about 30 minutes and left.
We went to a bar to have a drink and watch the game.
Wouldn't you know it, here he comes and 3 of the women too.
Now I'm thinking these are some serious red flags!!!!!!
I basically ignored him and he kept calling me on my cell phone
as we were on opposite sides of the bar.
Finally he left to go with a group of people to a friends to play pool.
He called me from there and asked if I was coming to play pool.
Yeah right, I'm right on that.....
What is wrong with people?
I am laughing my head off about it now.... but yesterday.....

Hi Patty and yikes! In fairness to him though, are you sure they weren't his sisters or something? If they weren't, I guess he is keeping his options way open isn't he? LOL. I wouldn't want a part of that game either.

It will be interesting to see if he calls me again...more interesting

He said he didn't think all of the women would show up.......

Oh yeah-- red flags all over the place. My first hubby used to play D & D (I know LOL) a lot and at first I thought it was "harmless fun" and sort of nerdy-cutesy. Yeah right.

I have a feeling that the last one standing has somehow gotten
a hold of my cell number....I have had 3 calls all number "withheld"
this morning...perhaps Romeo is sleeping and she is sneaking......
why oh why me........lol

eeewwwwwww!!! I don't even know what to say, I'm speechless. This sounds like college or high school or something. Patty, I'm so glad you found out now. Gosh, what if the others hadn't shown up and you went on to have a great time, went out with him alone, liked him, etc. YUCK.

Sunshine...somehow I think his true colors would have shown through
if they hadn't shown up. Anyone that invites several dates for one event
is unhinged in my book. I'm thinking I would have seen that if we were alone,
but thank god for the group date....lol just expedited everything....
(still shaking my head with a stupid grin on my face over this whole thing.)

please let us know if he actually CALLS again. I bet since you're one who doesn't want him, he'll be trying to win you over. I saw this show on tv last night (sort of like hidden camera pranks), a woman was hitting on men she found in a video store. She would talk about how good they would look together, etc. she go on and on about things you wouldn't talk about with someone you just met. Then a friend would walk up, she'd introduce them...then she'd call her mom over and say, "I think he's it, mr. right,I can just tell, blah blah blah." then a little boy walked over and she'd introduce him as her son and say, "say hi to daddy." OMG, it was so funny. one guy even said, "well where is his daddy?" she said, "who knows but it isn't my gd fault that his dad is a deat beat......." and go into that entire thing.

I went off a bit there but that story reminded me of this guy. too bad you can't pull a switcharoo on him, LOL.

oh my, there are some strange people out there.
