Need a Little Support - Giving Notice at Job and Trying to Avoid All, Today is a great day! Yet I am dragging my feet in giving my notice that I am leaving my job. I am trying to avoid confrontation and I was hoping somebody had some effective words to kick me in the tail and get it over with. I feel very confident that the new job is the right thing - I am just feeling may of the CoD traits rearing their ugly, unkempt, pointy heads to try and get me to delay the inevitable. Don't know if I should go in now - or at the end of the day. Any size 8's that can give me a good push is appreciated. The day is half over and I am feeling the anxiety building. Thanks all, Petunia |
I just read your response in a previous thread...I only wear a Size 7 1/2, but if I may, allow me to remind you what you do when you're having a rough day, and you'll remember the "why"... "HIII" Go for it! Hugs, Chalkie |
Suggestion: Say WHAT you mean, MEAN what you say, But DONT say it mean. You have 100% right to reisgn your job, and they have the right to like it or not. Take the action thats BEST for you, and let go of the rest! Good luck! |
It's Done - and it didn't hurt at all! Thanks so much for letting me get this out and providing feedback. I went in and got it out without, hemming or hawwing. Christina - your approach could not be more true! Thank you for taking the time to offer some insight. SR for everyone - HURRAH! Thanks again. And I wish you all a safe weekend. Petunia |
Congratulations Petunia! I'm sort of glad I didn't get here until you had already succeeded. I might have wondered if my size 10 was welcome. :lol HUGS! Smoke |
