When my abusive husband first left me I was devastated. The nights were beyond horrible. What helped me was either falling asleep to the TV or reading until I was utterly exhausted and couldn't keep my eyes open. Anything that took the focus off of thinking about the past or him got me through the nights. It will get better, just takes time.

Good job, mom!

All that walking and carrying might help you sleep better tonight, too.

I give you and "A", too.

Ok, going to ball my eyes out now! So up and down. My beautiful baby girl just cuddled up next to me and said "Mommy, this was the best day ever. Daddy doesn't want to live with us, he missed the jellyfish...his fault!" Laughter through tears is such a genuine emotion. Its almost like she realizes he's gone, knows I am sad and is trying to make me feel better. I HAVE to get stronger for her, she deserves the best of me and I feel bad that I've been so sad around her....sucking it up now!

Good to see you are doing better! Your daughter sounds like the sweetest little girl ever, glad she's keeping you laughing. and she has a great mom, so I am guessing she is going to be ok through all of this, even though I know it's been so very hard. Sending karma for continued good days for you both!
