Are we the same person TheUncertainty? Wicked? I love new books and new paper and pens! Love bookstores and libraries, quiet, serene places, etc.

She's an awesome speaker and author....sometimes I feel she's a little bit 'out there' but that's OK with me! She's got it goin' on, that's for sure.
Yes, I noticed she was a little out there, but I put it down to being zen. :c029:

She always had a packed house here in the Detroit area.

I must look into New Thought more. And buddhism. A philosophy I can really understand
When I read quotations, (yes, i read quotations for pleasure teehee) I like Ralph Waldo Emerson and William James. Self direction.

And yes, I love a bookstore, get a big ole chocolately mocha coffee, and sometimes a piece of pound cake. Or a scone. Muffins are good, and other pastries. Ah, they sell excellent shortbread there. I am hungry now.
Must get a book and my markers. print some new thought and mark it up.
coffee is already made.

thank you for the link tjp.

Beth - as I was looking over that list of online books I remembered that Lessons in Truth by Emilie Cady (sp?) was particularly awesome ... Lessons In Truth

I'll get off my soapbox now.

Noah Levine is a good Budduihst author to start with..Against The Stream..really keeps it simple..and Dharma Phunx..his memior(Sp) he is a recovering addict and applies both 12 step and Buddihism to his life..thinks they are equally important
