Dragon- I do know what you mean. The housing prices are insane here in California. I am very grateful for my home and what we have but when I look at the pricing of homes now....Today...in this area Im like "They want HOW MUCH for that house?" Needless to say my own home falls into "getting stupid" category. ;) On the bus. Doing this sober thing! Have a wonderful day everyone. |

I bought Elephant Ear bulbs for after we hang the fence. You guys......These things can get massive. The plan is for the Elephant Ears to get really big and then we can put tiny Dinosaur figures under them.....HAHAHAH!!! Im really happy with this actually! |

Beautiful Mexican sunflower Purps! I have never seen them before. Suze, you always make your home so beautiful with flowers and plants inside and out. You seem to have an empathic connection with nature. Thanks for asking about me Aly! With my schedule, I sometime post at 2:30 in the morning, or 2:30 in the afternoon. Happy to be on the Bus again today. I've got extra coffee if anyone needs some (extra coffee ... is that even a thing?). Housing prices out of control here in AZ, too. We're not sellers or buyers - just staying put, so it doesn't really impact us - still, it will be interesting to see how things play out. |

Not as cheery as those beautiful flowers but historically interesting - I passed the flat where Mama Cass Elliot and Keith Moon both died - it is the small window at the top right hand side of the building. |
Love the flowers Venus & Purps. Last fall I planted some Scillia bulbs that are now flowering. Also fertilized the daffodils and they have outdone themselves this spring. I've got to remember to keep that up. On the bus, finishing my 2nd and a half coffee. Going to make more. I've a couple of things I want to get done outside before it rains. Then a slow day cuddling Ruthie and napping. |

Oh, I'm very glad trees and buildings don't speak. Too much talking out there as it is. I love my quiet trees. Sao, you would be a good one to lead those haunted tours. You find all kinds of morbidly fascinating locations. You could use this and a megaphone. Good Morning, Sober Bus Riders! Friday is here. This week has been good in terms of productivity and work cohesiveness. We had an out of state person yesterday who decided that it was in his best interest to rebel against wearing a mask in my place of work. "This is not a conversation. If you want to shop here please put on a mask. We can provide that for you." He told us we were acting like we lived in North Korea. He said we should revolt. He said a lot. " Its okay for you to think differently but you will still need a mask to come in here" People need to be heard. I gave him a few minutes of my time and moved forward. The situation could have gone many different ways but staying calm and keeping boundaries is essential. "No mask. No shoes. No shirt. No service" THANK YOU. I now wonder how many others encountered this individual yesterday? Lol. I wonder if he got hungry enough to surrender? Did he have food supplies in his vehicle? He is very far removed from his home. Lol, Mizz. I worked at a casino in Nevada in my twenties. We had these lock things we could put on slot machines for people who had been playing the machines and who wanted to leave for one hour or less. The rule was to lock no more than two machines for a person and for one hour only. I was the supervisor in charge and a lady got very irate that I wouldn't break that rule for her. She wanted four machines locked. She said, "This is a public place. You have to do what I want." She wanted to talk to my boss, who was the shift manager in charge of the entire casino. His reply, "No, ma'am, I do not. This is a private BUSINESS and we can make whatever rules we want. You are free to leave." She wanted to talk to whoever was over HIM. He said, "Ma'am, God is over me." The end. Locks off. :) |
