Dragon, hope you and Mrs. D enjoyed the show. Mr. Ringo and I keep adding to our bucket list--going, seeing and doing all kinds of cool things. If he was drinking, he'd be in the garage avoiding me and if I was drinking (and overeating too), I'd be in the bedroom, door shut of course, lights off, watching TV, with glass of wine on nightstand and my hand inside a bag of potato chips. No way to live. I gratefully take my seat today on the Sober Bus. |

Today on the radio they announced Billy Joel coming to town in February....our afternoon host said he had experienced "misheard lyrics" to one of the songs when he was younger.....he thought "She's always a woman" was "She's a weasel woman" ~ Then he played it and that's what it sounds like! You probably had to be there but it was really funny :lmao: |
The show last night was really funny. Both of us were in tears we could not stop laughing. It was a scary month to quit drinking too CK. But then I guess for most people it is a scary thing to do. But so worth it. My daughter has agreed to to the carving this year. I can manage a standard jack-o-lantern and finish with all my fingers still attached, but that's it. The last concert I went to was Roger Waters Dark Side of The Moon. I did it sober but only because I refused to pay those ridiculous prices. I made up for it when I got home tho... I'd love to go see a live play, I did alot of that in my younger years. |
It’s so nice to go to events and not pay ridiculous prices for booze! Glad you enjoyed the show! When I first quit in the spring, I dranks tons of sparkling water. Recently I haven’t drunk much of anything. Am making a serious effort to drink tons more water |
