Clean & Sober with Michael Keaton and Morgan Freeman is very good and quite realistic. |

Watching House of Cards on Netflix. Fascinating dramatic series about the workings of our government. It addresses alcoholism and recovery through a significant character, an alcoholic congressman. In the middle of it, so anxious to see how it plays out. Worth a watch. |
Someone (I can't remember who!) on SR recommended My Name was Bette--Wow. It is a documentary done by her daughter....I will NEVER drink again. |
It's been mentioned already but after Requiem 'The Basketball Diaries' is what I think of. And it's a good one, a true story… More of a documentary man myself, you will find no shortage in that genre. |
