This past weekend was my daughter's birthday, not the baby, one of the three kids I had with my ex. For her birthday, I took them all up there to see him. Staying there for six days, seeing the kids so happy, feeling so peaceful, having time to rest feels so good....coming back here is depressing. But other than that, no drama to speak of. Not that life will be perfect up there, I'll still have my stuff but at least the kids will have a much better life....so it's just so depressing to come back here to "doing it all on my own." that's all.
