Yeah, pouring drinks would be so hard for me... such a temptation to just take a sip... which would turn into a major downward spiral for me. New job sounds like a good plan for your success.
Congrats on your 48 hours! It may take a while... but it really does get better. I'm on day 99 now and I can attest to the "it get's better" thing.
AA meetings sure help me stay on track. I have met a bunch of really cool people who are supportive and have been really helpful when I needed a recharge on my sober-batteries.
