Steely, it was pretty amazing to help those students. One read Remains of the Day and the other The Kite Runner. In their country education is mostly memorization so being asked to argue a thesis statement and support it with sections from the book is pretty different for them. I just can't even imagine doing what they are doing. I feel very inadequate tutoring them but I do what I can.

Today is taking a bit more crowbarring of my motivation to get me doing stuff.

So far:
checked investment account for tax doc - didn't find it - ugh
filled copy of car registration
cleaned kitchen
readied sample to send yet again
made a steak salad and sourdough pancakes
talked to neighbor
flossed and treated eczema
did a bit of duolingo - I'm getting increasingly bored with it
20 min of yoga
sorted through some old Christmas Cards sent to Dad - sigh thankless job

I always feel badly about throwing out old Christmas cards that were prepared and sent with such love and care. Ah well.

Now for more Yoga, Christmas Card sorting and check list of tax docs.
