I’m so sorry DD. We lost our previous dog to lymphoma. She was barely 3 years old. I think I know how you must have felt spending that evening with him. It’s truly heartbreaking, but you made the right decision. Getting another dog or even thinking about it felt like betrayal at the start, but I’m sure glad we did.
