Yes, there are still unknowns at this time, and it's human nature to be scared of unknowns. Now, I believe you probably already see this, or are at least suspecting it, but I just wanted to say that every one of those scary unknowns turned out to be nothing but pointless worries. There is nothing scary in recovery after you are well into it. It's like I was expecting something to be bad that is actually good.

OK, early recovery wasn't perfection, and I still had to deal with problems, and I still do, but I handle those problems better now. It didn't happen overnight, but every step of the journey was still flat out better than getting drunk.
