Are cigars a slippery slope?

I have never been a cigarette smoker but started smoking cigars a few years ago. I would say I do 3-5 a year. usually it will just pop into my head as something that sounds really good and I'll do one, maybe one a day for a few days in a row.

I'm wondering if this can become an issue. On cigar forums people claim they're not addicted and they just love smoking cigars but I'm wondering if eventually it becomes a daily habit that is very hard to quit? At this point I do not feel that I need it, it is not hard at all to not smoke them. I don't want it to become hard though and am worried that the people on those forums are biased and it's not the whole story?
