I don't know how many times I poured soapy water on a pack of smokes or cookies...exasperated at my inability to just leave them be.
I guess we are just made a little differently than those who can have a [insert item here] in the house and not eat/use/drink/smoke/snort it.

Steely I have some acquaintances IRL who have children (well, adult "children") with schizophrenia and other severe mental or physical disabilities. I cannot possibly imagine how difficult it must be, but I see them struggling too. I don't even have kids! I was afraid!
