Looks like the Loch Ness monsters head in the distance but its not. I was able to discover on my kayak during last summer that it was a 100mm ducting pipe sealed with bolts that the cormorants use as a perch from time to time. I was a bit dissapointed it was nothing more exciting but i was always curious to know.
