Mags, so your heat is a stove that burns both coal and wood? Not at the same time, I mean, separately.. That would be so convenient.
. I remember well the two coal burning stoves at the farmhouse, and no heat at all upstairs, tho a few open spaces in the floor so the heat from downstairs could rise and help heat the upstairs. Didn't do much tho.
I lived in a little quonset hut for several years and it had a gravity furnace, where there was no fan but vents cut in the floor to let the heat come up thru the furnace ducts. It didn't work very well but it wasn't the worst heating I've ever lived with...
When I have my follow up appt with my new doctor on the 21st I want to ask him for a referral to an eye doctor cause it's been a few (??) years since my last pair of glasses and they''re not helping much anymore. My vision is blurry a lot of the time and it's not cataracts cause I had the surgery and now have an artificial lens in both eyes, My vision was great for a while but I need an exam and new glasses, I will ask ck to check my eligibility for eye exams under my health insurance coverage. She would know better than most cause she's the business office manager at that facility.

Want to ask for your prayers and good thoughts for my sister (nycsis) as she just rec'd a diagnosis of lung cancer cause an x ray found a large mass in her left lung.
. I feel awful, The only thing I can do is to be a cheerleader for her without being sappy sweet. I'm asking for your prayers and thoughts as she meets with medical experts to discuss her treatment options and possible prognoses. She's been a nurse for a long time in nyc and knows a lot of specialists so that is in her favor. Glad it was caught at all by a routine exam order for an x ray.
To my sister, I am praying for the excellent medical professionals to do their magic and heal you. I am also praying for peace of mind for you in this trying time.
