Thank you. I know this won't be the same for everybody, but I literally just stopped. I felt like crap physically for a couple of weeks but mentally was the real killer. I'm an habitual alcoholic, I didn't drink every day, in fact I only drank on Friday, Saturday and Sunday but then it was full bottle of gin, full bottle of wine and beers on all three days. I used to drink basically until I more or less passed out. Always at home, always watching TV after cooking. See what I mean about habitual 😁.
Anyway, I dealt with it by doing the same things but with soft drinks instead of booze. It worked for me but was very hard to adapt to and still is. 3.5 years in and it's still working. 😁
