Hi Five!! (That sounds funny, lol).
Today I went running since my minor surgery. It went really well. I wore my new speed goat fives. I just couldn’t believe the traction I had! I felt like I was flying. It was such a lovely feeling. I only ran 3.75 miles. But it felt so good.
I met with my local gynecologist today. Unfortunately the specialist that he referred me to for my hysterectomy can’t see me until November 18. But he came up with a plan. He thinks that he and this other doctor can do my surgery which is kind of complex together. So if the specialist can’t take care of me surgically before the end of the year at least I have this other option. I’m trying to see the specialist for the surgery before the end of the year as my deductible has been met with insurance and it would save us a lot of money.

I met with the oral surgeon two days ago. He said that my jaw looks worse. (I broke it when I was hit cycling right before Christmas. I was hit by a small truck). I’m trying to be optimistic. Insurance rejected the claim. But we will try to resubmit it.

This time last year I was so active! I mean I still am very active. But the thought of two surgeries coming up is a little bit daunting. My jaw was feeling fine but in the last month or so something has happened and it aches quite a bit. But I refuse to take Advil. Because I’m scared that it will mask the pain and I will start eating foods that will just exacerbate the situation.

I don’t know what day it is for me. Day 18 I think! I’m proud of that.

Hi Venus and Anna and Dee. Hi RAL.

Off to bed. It feels good to be sober.
