I live in VA, and I've been drinking about a gallon a day too. I'm inside most of the day, but when I do go outside, I lose a lot of fluids even just walking my dog in the evening for a couple of miles. Even running a few errands a day I find myself pounding water. It's not just you, this heatwave has been brutal.
